Cold Storage Facility At Tingalpa, Brisbane, Sold For $1.35 Million

Cold Storage Warehouse Sold for $1.35 Million

A freestanding cold storage facility at Tingalpa in Brisbane’s south-east has been sold by Ray White Commercial for $1.35 million.

The property at 67 Proprietary Street, Tingalpa, was sold as a vacant possession to processed food distributors PFD Foods in a deal negotiated by Ray White Trade Coast’s Jared Doyle.

“We had solid interest in this facility with a number of offers before the owners accepted the offer from PFD Foods,” he said.

Jared Doyle said the Tingalpa property is on a land area of approximately 2,126 sqm and includes a 960 sqm freestanding cold storage warehouse.

He said PFD Foods, which has a history dating back to the company’s origins in Melbourne in 1864, needed an additional facility to its existing premises at nearby Lytton.

“PFD Foods was looking for another food preparation facility and offices to accommodate its growing business catering for a new contract with Costco,” he said.

“This facility has approximately 312 sqm of mezzanine office level. There’s approximately 521 sqm of food preparation and cold storage areas and a goods receiving ability from the hardstand area.”

Jared Doyle said the property is fully fenced and offers parking for approximately 12 cars.

“The location of the property in close proximity to the Gateway Motorway, Brisbane Airport and the Port of Brisbane was another bonus for PFD Foods,” he said.
