Lumad Lights Up New Premises
Lighting designer and manufacturer Lumad Technology Pty Ltd has secured an industrial warehouse/office unit at Hemmant in south-eastern Brisbane’s sought-after TradeCoast precinct through Ray White Commercial.
Lumad has leased 12/45 Canberra Street, Hemmant, in a deal negotiated by Ray White Commercial TradeCoast’s Jack Gwyn and Jared Doyle.
Jack Gwyn said the owners of the approximately 237 sqm unit contacted Ray White Commercial TradeCoast in May to advise that their tenants were leaving when their lease expired in mid-September, 2017.
“By August we had found a new tenant who was able to move in immediately which suited the exiting tenant who had already moved out,” Jack Gwyn said.
“It was a fantastic result for the owners with a seamless transition from one tenant to the next with no vacancy.”
Jared Doyle said the property comprises an approximately 104 sqm open plan office area over two levels plus an approximately 133 sqm clear span warehouse.
“The warehouse features electric container height roller door providing easy access plus there’s a 3 phase power supply with outlet points,” he said.
Lumad has taken out a 2 + 1 year lease at net rental of $30,000 per annum.
