St Vincent de Paul Snaps Up Morningside Building for $1 Million

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has snapped up a freestanding retail/office building at Morningside in Brisbane’s east for $1 million with plans to open a new charity shop.

St Vincent de Paul Society Queensland has purchased the vacant building at 600 Wynnum Road, Morningside, in a deal negotiated by Rhiannon Jones and Jonathon Jones of Ray White Commercial TradeCoast on behalf of a private owner.

Rhiannon Jones said the building on a block of approximately 405 sqm offers excellent signage opportunities and exposure to busy Wynnum Rd.

“St Vincent de Paul Society were looking for a new site in Morningside and this building was just what they were after,” she said.

Jonathon Jones said the property has an air-conditioned internal area of approximately 232 sqm and includes a kitchenette and amenities.

“The property has a backyard area with lockable storage and a rear access gate,” he said.

“We had a lot of interest in this freestanding retail building, which is located just 6km south east of the Brisbane CBD.

“The property is close to Morningside railway station and is ideally located with easy access to the Gateway Motorway, the Port of Brisbane and Brisbane Airport.”
