Apex Display Upgrades to Tingalpa Warehouse
Leading Queensland retail supplies company Apex Display has secured a warehouse facility at Tingalpa in Brisbane’s south-east to accommodate its growing business.
Apex Display has taken out a long term lease of a freestanding warehouse/office at 43 Proprietary Street, Tingalpa, in a deal negotiated by Ray White Trade Coast’s Jared Doyle.
Jared Doyle said the Tingalpa property is on a land area of approximately 2,652 sqm and includes a 1464 sqm L-shaped warehouse with dual container height roller door access, a dispatch office, heavy duty 3 phase power and a rear external storage area.
He said Apex Display, which has operated in Brisbane for four decades, was relocating from its current premises at Woolloongabba.
“Apex Display was looking for a bigger building to allow for more space to store stock,” he said.
“The owner of this property has replaced all the windows around the entire building and is repainting it as Apex requires premises in accord with the high end retail customers they deal with.
“Apex is also building an approximately 150 sqm showroom plus additional offices and amenities on a mezzanine level inside the existing warehouse, so they are really embedding themselves in here for the long term.”
Jared Doyle said the property also has 21 dedicated off-street car spaces plus a semi-trailer park with room for a container drop.
“The location of the property just three minutes from the Gateway Motorway’s north and southbound connections was another bonus for Apex Display,” he said.
Apex Display has taken a 3 x 3 x 3 x 3 year lease at a gross rental of approximately $185,000 per annum.
